Barrie,
As a complete novice I had my first 2 lessons at the National Surfing
Centre on Fri. and Sat. afternoon. I had to write to let you know
what an absolutely fantastic time it was! – Way above my expectations.
The instructors were all first class as well as showing incredible
patience and teaching ability, they all conveyed a real sense of fun
and seemed to be enjoying themselves. With no experience , I was a
little apprehensive prior to the first session but all these guys
were so relaxed and friendly it made the whole experience great fun!I’ll
certainly be back next month for more lessons and will recommend your
centre to everybody I know.
Keep up the good work and see you soon !
Regards

Hi Baz
Just a quick note to say a big thanks for the surfing lessons.
It was a great introduction into surfing and we both enjoyed our lessons
with Celine and Sab, who were great instructors.
We are missing surfing bigtime and are going to take some time out
for a long weekend in late sep/oct for some more lessons.
Is there any events coming up/occasions that we can check out before
November?
Thanks again to you and all of your guys for a great experience, we
are hooked!!!
Cheers
Sam

As
was the case last year, I was very impressed with the professionalism
and quality of the surf school and instructors. Most of the students
have been very positive about the experience. From the Moat School
year 9 and supervising teachers , I would like to thank you for your
patience ,attitude, professionalism and instruction.
Although I will probably not be returning personally next year , I
am sure that if another Moat School group comes to Newquay, that they
will be equally impressed with your surf school.
Yours
Faithfully

Just a brief email to say thanks for a great experience. Our trip
was part of a Stag night and the stag and all the others thought the
surfing was excellent! All five of us are hooked and are likely to
take up the sport..
As for the equipment, venue and staff – they were all first
class, and every member of our party thought the session was great
value for money and would have no hesitation in booking with you again.
Good
luck to you all for the future, and thanks again. Pass on our regards
to the staff.

RE: British Resorts Association Conference.
Dear
Baz ,
As you are aware my Authority hosted the subject conference last week
and it is already being labelled by members of the Association as
the best event on record.
The
success of such an event is due to people such as yourself and the
British Surfing Assoc. who were extremely helpful to my team prior
to and during BRA’s time here.
We
were obviously lucky with the weather which more than suited a predominantly
outdoor programme. The delegates who took the opportunity of Surfing
Lessons were most impressed by the professionalism of the BSA and
the help and encouragement they were given throughout the lesson.
I
take this opportunity to thank you and your team for all your efforts
which, I can assure you, are very much appreciated. Here’s wishing
you, your family and all at the British Surfing Assoc. continued success
for the future.
Best
wishes and kind regards,
P
L Wright.

All the staff that worked with us were very Helpful, enthusiastic
and professional.
I
speak for all of us when I say that our first surfing experience was
so good that we can’t wait, to get back in the water again !!

Dear
Barrie ,
I am writing on behalf of Newquay MIND to thank you and to show appreciation
for the partnership / collaboration offered by the British Surfing
Assoc. , in providing ‘Therapeutic’ surfing lessons for
our members.
From
the feedback that I have received from members, I can assure you that
by the provision of such an activity, much pleasure and sense of achievement
has been gained. One member spoke of the self esteem he had gained
by going into the sea after such a long period of illness.
Once again I would like to thank you for this excellent opportunity
that you are giving to our members and hope that it can continue in
the future.
With
Best wishes ,
Althea Stevens

Dear
Sirs,
During the Whitsun holidays we went to Newquay , and my daughter had
a ½ days surfing lesson at the National Surfing Centre on Fistral
Beach.
During the lesson she fell awkwardly on her foot and had to be taken
up the beach by the Instructors and Lifeguards. And then onto hospital
by us.
We would like to thank all the staff on Fistral beach , both Instructors
and Lifguards for the very efficient way in which they handled this
. ( esp. the lifeguards who also had a major emergency on their hands
at the same time with a small boy suffering back injuries)
We were most impressed with the coaching and the professional approach.
Our only regret is that Sarah could not take up the offer of a free
surfing lesson later in the week – as her ankle was still sore.
Looking forward very much to being able to partake in some more of
your lessons in the future.
Best Regards
Mr. S Green

Dear
Barrie,
I write to thank you for the instructional package that you put together
for members of the squadron. It was felt that although we brought
business to the otherwise quiet end of season, the value for money
and level of instruction received from the National Surfing Centre
were excellent!
I am not sure if there were any future stars in our group , however
all that took part enjoyed the experience.
Once again , Thank you,
Yours , D. Croall
